This project featured a custom solar picture frame detail designed to seamlessly integrate Tesla solar components within the roof while maintaining the home's architectural character and curb appeal. The roofing system incorporated beautiful Clay S roof tile paired with Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles in the Terra Cotta color. To provide long-term waterproofing protection, Malarkey underlayment was installed beneath the tile roof sections, while Titanium underlayment was installed beneath the shingle roofing sections. Careful attention was given to every transition between the tile, shingles, and solar components to ensure a clean appearance and durable weather protection throughout the entire roofing system.
