We performed a comprehensive tile roof restoration for this Tucson home to address significant debris accumulation and compromised underlayment. Our team removed the existing terracotta clay tiles to inspect the underlying structure and performed necessary repairs to the OSB sheathing where the roof deck had been exposed. We focused on clearing debris-filled valleys and securing critical transition points near the stucco chimneys and plumbing vents. To ensure a long-lasting waterproof seal, we installed high-performance Polyglass Polystick TU MAX underlayment across the entire roof surface. We then reinstalled the concrete S-tiles, meticulously aligning them and sealing the hip ridges with fresh mortar. This restoration not only improved the home's drainage efficiency but also reinforced its durability against the intense desert elements.
