Encinitas, CA | Concrete Tile Lift & Lay

A beautiful tile roof doesn't always need new roof tiles. In many cases, the waterproofing beneath the tile reaches the end of its service life long before the concrete tiles themselves. For this project in Encinitas, we carefully removed the existing concrete roof tiles, installed two layers of Titanium UDL 50 synthetic underlayment, and reinstalled the original tile roof to restore the home's waterproofing system. The existing tiles have naturally weathered over the years but remain in good serviceable condition. While a professional roof cleaning would further enhance the appearance, the homeowner's priority was restoring the waterproofing beneath the tile and extending the life of the existing roof. Projects like this are a great example of why every tile roof should be evaluated individually. When the existing tiles are still in good condition, a concrete tile lift and lay can provide a long-lasting waterproofing system without replacing the entire tile roof.
