We transformed a central courtyard into a functional outdoor classroom and learning area for an elementary school in Columbus. Our team performed extensive site preparation, including concrete demolition, tree clearing, and precision grading of the existing soil. We then installed a multi-layered gravel base to ensure proper drainage for the new surfacing. The final phase involved the installation of high-quality synthetic turf and a black metal picket fence to secure the perimeter. This new space integrates seamlessly with the surrounding brick architecture while preserving the site’s mature trees. The result is a durable, low-maintenance environment designed for heavy student use throughout the year.
