Luxury Bathroom, Powder Room & Laundry Renovation Our clients came to us with a vision: a warm, neutral-toned bathroom with high-end finishes and soft mood lighting. Less bathroom, more luxury hotel. It was large area, but poorly laid out, and all that room ended up feeling cluttered rather than calm. The powder room had almost no natural light, and the laundry was large but plain. They asked us to rethink the whole zone from the ground up: a smarter, more functional layout wrapped in a modern luxury feel, with soft lighting throughout to bring that warm, relaxed atmosphere. In the main bathroom, we opened the space up around a cold plunge bath, a genuine wellness feature and the centrepiece of the room, paired with a double vanity and a walk-in shower finished in warm brushed nickel tapware. Large-format 600x1200 tiles keep the surfaces clean and seamless. Pendant lights hang over the bath, and concealed strip lighting runs through the niches and beneath the joinery, so the room glows softly rather than glares. We ran VJ panelling into the splashback areas for a softer, more tactile finish against the tile. The separate toilet became a feature in its own right: a smart bidet suite with a heated seat, auto flush and full bidet functions, custom overhead joinery, and warm mood lighting. In the powder room, which started out as the darkest space in the house, we fitted a Velux skylight that floods it with natural light, tied together with the same soft-lit vanity and neutral palette running through the rest of the project. We redesigned the laundry to match. The washer and dryer now up off the floor into custom joinery, with pull-out shelving for wash baskets, turning an awkward utility room into a modern, genuinely easy-to-use space. A new glass door replaced the old one with a new green wall outside, so the whole room feels brighter and more considered. Underneath it all: under-tile heating across all three wet areas and new double-glazed windows throughout. The finish is in the detail, with mitred edges and epoxy joints wrapping the tile seamlessly over every nib wall and niche. These finishes are the ones that separates a genuine luxury renovation from a standard one. Our clients were thrilled at every stage, from the first design conversation through to handover.
