We completed a targeted leak repair on this Cincinnati flat roof by focusing on vulnerable penetrations and aging seals. Our team mechanically scraped away brittle, cracked roofing cement to expose the underlying membrane and clean the surface around the PVC plumbing vents. We then executed a three-course liquid flashing process by embedding a layer of polyester fleece reinforcement fabric into a heavy coat of high-performance urethane-asphalt sealant, finishing with a final topcoat to ensure a durable, flexible bond that handles thermal expansion. These repairs successfully sealed the chimney base and vent pipes, restoring the integrity of the roofing system and preventing future moisture intrusion.
