A First Home Transformation in French Quarter Creek 🏡🎨
We recently had the privilege of helping Hannah and Chaz personalize their first home in the French Quarter Creek community of Huger, South Carolina. Our team refreshed the main living areas with a warm, inviting palette using Sherwin-Williams Cashmere. The walls were transformed with Creamy SW 7012, the baseboards were refreshed in crisp Extra White SW 7006, and the kitchen island received a bold, sophisticated accent in Iron Ore SW 7069. Together, these colors created a brighter, more cohesive interior while making the island a beautiful focal point in the open-concept space. For Hannah, however, this project was about more than choosing the right colors. From our initial phone conversation, she felt confident that Pathway Home Painting & Improvements would take the time to listen, explain the process, and help her make an informed decision. During the estimate, we carefully walked through the home, discussed why certain preparation and painting steps were recommended, and created a customized proposal showing the price difference between painting the walls only and completing both the walls and baseboards. That level of transparency was especially meaningful after Hannah’s experiences with other estimates. One contractor spent only a short time looking around before providing a general price, while another company would not present its proposal unless her husband was also present. We believe every homeowner deserves to be heard, respected, and fully equipped to make decisions about their own home. Our goal was never to pressure Hannah; it was to provide the information, options, and professional guidance she needed to feel confident in her choice. That confidence continued throughout the project through consistent communication, careful preparation, crisp paint lines, and close attention to every detail. One of the greatest compliments came from Chaz’s father, who has a background in commercial construction. Hannah expected him to arrive and immediately find things that could have been done differently or better. Instead, after inspecting the completed work, he told them he could not find anything to criticize and said, “I don’t know what y’all paid for this, but this is a phenomenal job.” He felt the workmanship was worth every penny. Although we ran out of time before taking our traditional “100% Satisfied” photo, Hannah recorded a video testimonial with us and left a five-star review on the spot. Her review said the paint lines were crisp, the finish was beautiful, the project truly transformed their home, and that she would absolutely use us again for future projects. For young, first-time homeowners, choosing a contractor can feel overwhelming. We are grateful that Hannah and Chaz trusted our family-owned company and even more grateful that the finished project reassured them they had made the right decision. Thank you, Hannah and Chaz, for allowing Pathway Home Painting & Improvements to help make your first house feel even more like home! 📍 French Quarter Creek | Huger, SC 🎨 Walls: Sherwin-Williams Creamy SW 7012 🎨 Baseboards: Sherwin-Williams Extra White SW 7006 🎨 Kitchen Island: Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore SW 7069 🖌️ Product: Sherwin-Williams Cashmere
