We completed a comprehensive roof replacement for this single-story home in Danville. The project involved stripping the existing layers down to the original wooden deck to assess for structural damage. We identified and replaced several sections of weathered planking and plywood to ensure a solid foundation for the new roofing system. For the new surface, we installed Owens Corning architectural shingles in Onyx Black along with updated ridge vents and metal drip edges for improved ventilation and moisture management. We also reinforced the transition between the sloped asphalt sections and the flat membrane roof to ensure a watertight seal across the entire structure. This project corrected previous fascia and soffit gaps while providing a durable, high-performance exterior for the homeowners.
