We completed a full residential roofing replacement in Austin, beginning with a complete tear-off of the existing damaged shingles. During the removal process, we identified and replaced over fifteen sheets of thin and moisture-damaged OSB decking to ensure a solid structural foundation for the new materials. Our team also carefully addressed interior water staining concerns by securing the roof-to-wall intersections and chimney flashings. We installed new architectural asphalt shingles over a durable dark grey underlayment and integrated an ice and water barrier for superior leak protection. The project included the installation of new metal drip edges, painted pipe jacks, and a replacement solar attic vent to restore proper ventilation and energy efficiency. We finished the job by installing a seamless gutter system and ensuring all downspouts were properly configured against the white brick exterior to manage drainage effectively.
