We performed a comprehensive storm damage assessment and roof inspection on this two-story residential home in Austin. Our team identified significant hail impacts and wind-related wear across the architectural shingles, including damage to the roof vents and skylight flashing. To prevent further interior moisture intrusion, we deployed emergency tarping over the most vulnerable sections of the roof deck. During the process, we staged GAF ProArmor synthetic underlayment and other essential roofing materials to prepare for the restoration phase. We also addressed secondary issues, such as failing sealant around window frames and exterior siding gaps, to ensure a complete weather-tight seal. Our team took extra care to protect the interior of the home with drop cloths and plastic sheeting while work was underway.
