We removed the old asphalt shingles completely and installed Malarkey's Vista AR shingle in Black Oak. It carries a lifetime warranty and is rated for winds up to 130 mph. Malarkey shingles are made from upcycled material. The equivalent of 5 rubber tires and 3,200 plastic bags were kept out of landfills on this roof alone.
