We responded to a residential condominium in Miami to manage fire damage restoration following a mechanical failure in a utility closet. The scope of work involved inspecting a McQuay HVAC unit that suffered severe internal charring, melted wiring, and scorched electrical components. We focused on assessing the impact of the electrical fire on the unit's mechanical systems and surrounding structural surfaces. Our team deployed specialized air movers and mitigation equipment to stabilize the environment and address soot residue throughout the interior. By isolating the damaged wiring and cleaning the affected utility spaces, we ensured the area was prepared for necessary system repairs. This project successfully mitigated the spread of smoke damage within the high-rise residence.
