We completed a full roof replacement of the front mansard on this Frederick townhouse. Our team removed the existing shingles and stripped back the facade to the underlying structure to identify hidden damage. We replaced several sections of rotting plywood roof decking and deteriorated wood around the dormer windows to ensure a solid foundation. After repairing the substrate, we installed new CertainTeed Landmark Resawn Shake architectural asphalt shingles. We also updated the flashing and trim around the dormers to provide a watertight seal. This project restored the structural integrity of the roof while giving the home a clean, updated exterior.
