We completed a comprehensive tile roof repair and exterior wood restoration project for this residence in Delray Beach. Our team addressed several active leaks by removing the existing clay tiles to inspect the underlying roof deck and structural components. We identified and removed significant sections of rotted plywood sheathing and damaged fascia boards that had deteriorated due to water intrusion. After reinforcing the exposed rafters, we installed new plywood decking and a high-performance blue synthetic underlayment to create a secondary water barrier. We focused on critical transition areas, applying professional sealant around the chimney base and vertical wall intersections to prevent future moisture issues. The project was finished by meticulously resetting the clay tiles and installing new, weather-resistant fascia to ensure the home's long-term protection.
