We performed an initial inspection and restoration prep for a water damage project in a Miami apartment. Our team protected the existing wood-look tile flooring with extensive masking and established dust containment barriers to isolate the work zones from the rest of the residence. We removed bathroom vanities and opened sections of the walls to expose plumbing lines and structural framing for detailed assessment. We used heavy-duty floor protection and plastic containment curtains with zipper entries to maintain a clean environment during the demolition phase. The scope involved identifying leaks behind the vanity and inspecting PEX and PVC piping within the wall cavities. These critical preparation steps allowed us to clear the way for specialized plumbing repairs and thorough structural drying.
