We completed a comprehensive roof restoration for this residential property in Tucson, focusing on both structural repairs and new underlayment installation. Our team addressed weathered structural framing and replaced damaged fascia boards before preparing the deck for new materials. We stripped back the existing tile sections to the plywood and OSB decking to ensure a solid foundation for the updated system. We utilized Polyglass Polystick TU MAX self-adhered underlayment to provide superior waterproofing protection beneath the clay tile surface. The project involved carefully staging and reinstalling terracotta barrel tiles and applying fresh mortar to the ridges for a secure finish. This updated roof now provides long-term durability against the desert climate while maintaining the home's traditional aesthetic.
