We completed a comprehensive deck transformation for this residence in Cary, North Carolina. Our team removed the existing weathered wood boards and inspected the structural joists to prepare for a new, durable composite surface. We also reinforced the support system with new timber posts and concrete footings to ensure long-term stability for the outdoor living space. For the finish, we installed high-performance composite decking paired with a classic wooden railing system and black metal balusters. The updated skirting features new lattice with an integrated access door for convenient under-deck storage. This project replaced a high-maintenance wooden structure with a modern, low-maintenance entertaining area that integrates perfectly with the home's existing brick chimney and vinyl siding.
