We completed the installation of a new Rheem Classic professional series electric water heater for a homeowner in College Station. The project involved setting the new unit within a dedicated alcove on a raised platform, equipped with a metal drain pan and a dedicated drainage line to prevent water damage. To ensure the system operates safely under varying pressures, we integrated a thermal expansion tank and updated the plumbing with durable CPVC and PEX piping. We also applied black foam insulation to the hot water lines and installed a new brass shut-off valve for improved system control and efficiency.
