Clayton Roof Replacement and Structural Wood Rot Repair Project
We completed a comprehensive exterior restoration in Clayton, North Carolina, focusing on critical structural repairs and a partial roof replacement. Our team addressed extensive wood rot found in the porch support beams, soffits, and deck framing to ensure the home's long-term stability. We carefully removed damaged sections of roof sheathing to prepare for a new, durable roofing system. For the roof, we installed high-quality OSB sheathing and synthetic underlayment to provide superior moisture protection. We also performed detailed carpentry work, replacing weathered load bearing beams and reinforcing the elevated deck structure with pressure-treated lumber. The project concluded with professional flashing installation and trim repairs to prevent future water intrusion and preserve the brick exterior.
