This large custom log home and property received an extensive exterior refresh from Quality Coats Painting. The project included the main home, barn, pool house, garage, dormers, chimney, porches, and exterior trim. We began with a careful mildew treatment and pressure washing, including a light rinse of the log cabin siding to properly prepare the wood while protecting its character. Minor wood replacement was also completed on the chimney using raw cedar. The exterior was finished with Sherwin-Williams WoodScapes Solid Stain, including the siding, dormers, fascia, soffits, porch ceilings, doors, window trim, columns, chimney, and garage doors. We also refinished five metal window frames using Seal-Grip and Speedhide Exterior products. With steep dormers, a large chimney, detailed trim work, and multiple structures, this project required careful preparation and attention to detail from start to finish. Quality Coats Painting is proud to provide professional exterior painting, wood staining, log home restoration, and exterior refinishing in Alba, TX and throughout East Texas.
