We transformed an existing outdoor recreation space into a custom-built synthetic turf putting/Bocce Court in New Buffalo, Michigan. The project involved excavating a 9' 1" by 43' 8" area of existing shell/sand and utilizing the existing framed timbers. Our team established a stable foundation using layers of crushed stone and compacted screenings to ensure a perfectly level playing surface. We installed high-performance artificial turf designed for consistent ball roll and long-term durability in the regional climate. To complete the installation, we integrated professional-grade golf cups and pins to be able to practice distance control on straight putts. This conversion provides a low-maintenance, multi-functional recreational space that blends seamlessly with the surrounding residential landscape.
