We performed a comprehensive exterior foundation waterproofing project to address moisture issues for this home in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our team excavated a deep trench around the foundation perimeter to expose the concrete walls for thorough inspection and repair. We applied fresh mortar to seal cracks and prepared the surface for multi-layered protection against groundwater intrusion. We then applied a black bituminous waterproofing membrane followed by the installation of a DELTA dimpled drainage mat to ensure proper moisture diversion. The base of the trench was filled with crushed gravel to facilitate drainage away from the structure before the site was finalized. These upgrades provide a durable barrier that protects the foundation's integrity and prevents future basement leaks.
