We addressed persistent water intrusion issues by installing an interior perimeter drainage system and a heavy-duty sump pump in Toronto. Our team excavated a trench along the interior foundation walls to intercept moisture before it could damage the living space, properly routing the water to a new basin. We installed a circular sump pump basin and a corresponding pump assembly into the concrete slab to ensure consistent, automatic water removal. This system effectively manages drainage from the base of the stairs and surrounding foundation areas, preventing future moisture buildup. We finished the installation by patching the concrete floor to integrate the new drainage components seamlessly with the existing foundation and flooring. The new drainage solution now keeps the lower-level foundation area dry and protected from hydrostatic pressure.
