We completed a targeted exterior renovation for this home in Cartersville, focusing on a severely weathered chimney chase. Our team removed the failing wood siding to expose the underlying framing and flue, then rebuilt the structure to ensure it was weather-tight. We then installed new horizontal lap siding across the entire vertical chase to match the existing architecture. After the siding installation, we applied fresh exterior paint to blend the new materials seamlessly with the original gray siding. This project addressed structural vulnerability by replacing missing planks and protecting the chimney from future moisture intrusion. The final result restored the home’s curb appeal and reinforced its exterior envelope against the elements.
