We completed a comprehensive interior floor transformation for a cottage in Paso Robles. The project began with extensive preparation of the existing concrete subfloor, which featured several large structural cracks. We meticulously repaired the damaged slab using specialized patching compounds and applied a professional-grade moisture vapor barrier primer system to ensure long-term stability and protection against rising damp. Following the subfloor preparation, we installed a custom high-gloss metallic epoxy coating. This finish features a marbled, swirled grey and white aesthetic that creates a fluid, light-reflecting surface throughout the bathroom, living area and kitchenette. The final result provides a durable, seamless floor that enhances the interior space while effectively concealing the previous structural damage to the concrete foundation. This industrial-strength coating ensures the cottage floors remain both resilient and easy to maintain for years to come.
