Kitchenaid Refrigerator Loud Noise

April 2025

The refrigerator's evaporator fan motor was found encased in ice, which was the source of a loud noise. We securely zip-tied the evaporator thermostat to the copper line and defrosted any ice on the evaporator coil. Additionally, we cleared the drain line using steam. The refrigerator is now operating as intended.
