We performed a comprehensive diagnostic and repair on a Midea upright freezer in Howey-in-the-Hills. After the unit stopped maintaining temperature, we accessed the rear mechanical compartment to inspect the compressor and electrical components. Our team systematically tested the system to identify the point of failure within the cooling cycle. We used a digital multimeter to verify electrical readings and checked the relay switch for proper functionality. The process involved inspecting the copper refrigerant lines, compressor mounting, and the internal shelving temperature to ensure the unit returned to optimal cooling levels. We successfully restored the freezer's performance, providing a reliable storage solution for the garage space.
