Eric Moncado, owner of Golden Ridge has worked tirelessly over a year on my behalf to get the necessary approval from my insurance company who were not forthcoming in approving my roof replacement. Eric was persistent and always told me that is how the system works. He taught me to be patient as he and his associates obtained the approval. He was excited throughout the process from beginning to the present time. His friendly disposition and getting to know your family was icing on top. I started the process working with Golden Ridge last year in June. The entire experience was an absolute nightmare. My point of contact was Eric. My insurance company initially denied my request because the damages were less than my deductible. Eric told me that this is what my particular insurance company did and that he would fight to get my roof repaired. From August of last year until around October of last year, my insurance company continued to send me requests for more pictures of my roof. Inhadnt even received any pictures at this point either. I relayed all of the messages to Eric. He assured me that all of the informaton had been sent to the insurance comany. Fast foward to this year around February. My HOA threatened to sue me because my roof had still not been repaired. I contacted Eric and asked for him to send me all of the correspondence between his company and my insurance company, so that I could send it to my HOA. He said he would gladly send the paperwork. I believed him. I NEVER received any paperwork. I was able to get an extension on getting the roof repaired through my HOA. Throughout the Summer l would contact him about the repairs. ERIC would assure that he was still working with my insurance company. Meanwhile I checked my online account for the insurance company and they considered the claim closed. When Beryl hit my roof suffered more damage. As a result of this storm my roof began to leak. I also had water running down my walls when it would rain. In July I asked Eric about getting a tarp for my roof. He told me that he would schedule me for a tarp in July. August came and I still did not have a tarp. It is now September and still no tarp. I called Eric to tell him about all of the water running down the walls, and he tells me that he is with another customer. I asked for the tarp to be installed again. Finally the tarp was installed in September. This is after waiting almost two months for a tarp. Eric finally called me back and told me that he was still working with my insurance company and asked me to give him another month to get my roof approved. I told him that I would be looking for another roofing company. Worst experience ever.
